My goal as a writer of children’s books is to provide literature that will resonate with today’s young readers but which also provides underlying take-home messages that can guide them through issues they, like my characters, may face in their daily lives.

I believe that this book resonates with today’s young readers who are faced with their own “bullies” in their everyday lives. Parents and Teachers! I recommend this book to all kids. The rain was pounding hard against the roof of our Westfield Jr. High School the day Sammy had had enough.
